The amazing beauty of Lake Pepin and the surrounding River Bluffs makes Lake City one of the most beautiful spots in Minnesota. We like to call it Minnesota’s South Shore. Yet it’s only a short drive down river on Highway 61 from Minneapolis/ St. Paul and just 40 minutes northeast of Rochester.

Both John & Sharon love the Lake City area so much. John grew up in Rochester spending his summers with family in Lake City. In 2003, John and Sharon found a home in Lake City on Lake Pepin and made it into their ‘summer home.’ After completely remodeling their new ‘summer home’ over a period of 4 years, they wanted a new project and something to keep them busy, so they purchased their first ‘vacation rental’ property in 2007. Their first project/remodel became what is now the ‘Coastal Charm Townhome.’ In 2009, after a successful and favorable experience with their first property, they found another ‘perfect’ property and are in the process of completely remodeling it. By mid-May of 2010, the new property called “Amazing Views” on Park Street will become another fantastic ‘vacation rental.’

They both enjoy meeting their guests and welcoming them to Lake City. They especially enjoy guests’ favorable reactions to their accommodations’ ‘charm,’ ‘coziness,’ and ‘cleanliness,’ as well as the wonderful views of Lake Pepin.
